Illustrations: 70 copper engravings, comprising frontispiece (Gay's monument), vol. 2, engraved t.p.s with vignettes, and 67 plates, 12 of which are engraved by William Blake and the others by W. Skelton, W. Grainger, Audinet, Cook, Lovegrove, Manzell, and Wilson. The designs were adapted from those of Kent, Wooton or Gravelot in earlier editions. Cf. Bentley.
