This album of original drawings and engravings, chiefly by Leroux, comprises preliminary designs and drawings for Les noces corinthiennes Ed. définitive, décorée de vingt compositions d'Auguste Leroux, gravées par Ernest Florian (Cf. Heineman 338).
With 41 pen and ink sketches, 20 proofs of engravings signed by Florian, after Leroux, 16 drawings, 12 charcoal sketches, and 2 drawings signed by Georges Bellenger.
Binding:
3/4 blue levant with marbled sides, by Gruel; spine elaborately decorated with color inlays, lettered in gold, all edges gilt; in matching 1/4 blue levant chemise and marbled slip case.
