This preparatory drawing for the "Almanach Iconologique" (Paris, 1769; p. 6) was engraved in reverse by Delongueil. The illustrations for the seventeen small volumes of the "Almanach'' were the result of a collaboration by Gravelot and Nicolas Cochin (1715-1790); nine volumes were engraved after Gravelot's designs, and eight after Cochin's designs.
