Playfully alluding to the time they spent in bed while he was on furlough; discussing what has been happening in the camp; complaining that the "talking and yelling" by his desk make it "impossible to concentrate"; noting that "all men have to spend four nights a week in camp which is putting a cramp in the lives of the men with wives in Augusta."
