Summary: 

Sharing her concern that Voltaire's health would deteriorate if he were to come across the lampoon (Voltairomanie). Saying she is doing her best to prevent Voltaire from finding out about this, as well as about his Dutch publishers and Rousseau's return. Eagerly wanting Tiriot to put things right, saying that if he does not do so he will find a formidable adversary in her. Asking the comte d'Argental to inform her of Tiriot's attitude and the lampoon's popularity.
