Ms. book of hours for the use of Angers (Hours of the Virgin); written and illuminated in France, possibly in Angers, ca. 1450; two miniatures (on fol. 32r and 33r) added ca. 1490.
Decoration: 2 full-page and 5 large miniatures, one with 3 historiated roundels in the border; elaborate panel borders on nearly every page.
Artist: the artist of the second of the two miniatures added ca. 1490 , an Icon of the Vingin, with the burning bush below on fol. 33, is probably Georges Trubert--Cf. Nineteenth report to the Fellows of the Pierpont Morgan Library, 1978-1980.
