Title and imprint from ISTC.
Dated about 1473 by P. Needham (Christie's, Doheny 16, and Sotheby's, Schøyen 6), who prefers to see Mentelin in association with Rusch as responsible for the work of the R-printer. Hillard dates about 1472-73 from an ownership note (wrongly dated 1470) of Jacobus, abbot of Lilienfeld from 21 May 1472 to 25 Jan. 1474 (Sotheby's 13 Aug. 1888, lot 2832). GW and Goff accept as genuine the date 1470. The Solothurn copy was purchased on 18 July 1475.
Printed in The R-Printer (Johannes Mentelin and/or Adolf Rusch) type 1:103R.
