19th-century English gilt-tooled blue straight-grained morocco over paper boards (21.5 x 15 cm), sewn on 4 supports. Plain orange paper pastedowns and fly leaves with plain paper fly leaves; decorative endbands; gilt edges.

Hand decoration: 16th-century or later simple Roman initials. Annotations: Early marginal notations, bleached/faded, not legible under UV (leaves a2r-3r). Modern pencil/crayon alpha-numeric marginal notations and signatures on unsigned leaves.
