16th-century German blind-rolled calf over wooden boards (31 x 22 cm), probably bound in Strassburg. Gilt-tooled title, "Horacius cu[m] figuris" on top board. Plain paper pastedowns; decorative endbands. 2 clasps, clasps wanting; Y-shapged catch plates. Blind-tooled armorial of Placidus Hieber (1615-1678), Abbot of Lambach (added later to top board). Early modern manuscript paper title label on spine, with shelf mark 167.
