PML Checklist dates [1474]; ISTC as before 1476. Sheppard, ms Bodleian Library (2697) argues that this was printed by a successor to Han's types about 1480 due to the mixture of capitals from type 5:125G (see also letter from Sheppard, 15 June 1966, in PML ChL file).
Printed in Han's type 4:103R with some capitals from 5:125G.

Contemporary German blind-tooled half calf over beech boards (20.5 x 14.5 cm), sewn on 3 supports. Paper pastedowns and endleaves, front pastedown is from a 15th/16th-century German manuscript. 1 tie clasp, missing, with 2 holes drilled in the top and bottom boards.
Inscriptions/Markings:
Hand decoration: Rubrication unrealized. Annotations: Minimal marginal notations and NB marks throughout, 17th/18th century. Modern (pre-Morgan) foliation and numeration of the Facetiae.
