Contemporary German blind-stamped calf over champfered wooden boards (43 x 31 cm), sewn on 6 supports, by the Trier Carthusian cloister bindery (Trier Kartäuserkloster, EBDB w002275, active 1460-91); repaired by Duprez Lahey. Plain paper and vellum pastedowns; manuscript waste used as quire guards and binding reinforcement. 2 clasps, missing but catch plates present. Manuscript signatures and catchwords, mostly trimmed.

Hand decoration: Contemporary rubrication, red initials (primary initials with black penwork decoration), paragraph marks, and captial strokes. Foliation in top center margins, begins with 1 for each part. Annotations: Minimal (only 3-4) contemporary marginal notations in text. Leather knot tabs on fore edge, with book number (i.e. Primus, Secundus, etc.) on tab and 1-4 lines next to tab also designating book number.
