Notes:
"Among the Old Babylonian seals that appear to represent the mature style of the period, there are a number that picture a god placing one or both of his feet upon a snake-dragon (387-390). From the First Dynasty of Babylon on (possibly even before that) this dragon was the emblem of Marduk, chief god of the Babylonian pantheon. Hence the god with the dragon is assumed to be Marduk. In 387 and 388, the god stepping on the dragon rests his hand on a scimitar." Porada, CANES, p. 48
