The works performed were the overture to Cherubini's Anacréon, Dvořák's Karneval overture, Mahler's Morning in the Fields (i.e., Ging heut' morgens übers Feld from Lieder eines fahrenden Gesellen) and A Tale of the Rhine (i.e. Rheinlegendchen from Des Knaben Wunderhorn), Schumann's Symphony no. 2, Bohemian cradle song from Smetana's Hubička (arranged by Kurt Schindler) and Vltava from his Má vlast.
This was the first performance of the Mahler and Smetana songs with with orchestra. The soloist was Alma Gluck.
