Cusins conducted Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto (with Joseph Joachim), Beethoven's Symphony no. 5, the scena My child is fled from G. A. Macfarren's Robin Hood (with Santley), Crudel! perchè finora from Mozart's Nozze di Figaro (with Wynne and Santley), and Weber's overture The ruler of the spirits (i.e. Der Beherrscher der Geister).
