Late French edition with French text incorporating elements of the 1859 Escudier edition and the L. Grus editions of 1883[?] and 1923, but with new changes. Gilda's first words on p. 117 are "Carlo Maldé" in this edition, "Carlo Baldi!" in the Escudier and Grus editions. At the top of p. 118 of the Escudier and Lemoine editions is the tempo indication "Allo moderato"; Grus had "moderato." The first words of Gilda's "Caro nome," on p. 118, are "O nom charmant et si doux, Nom chéri de mon époux" in Escudier, but "Ô doux nom, ô nom charmant. Tu résonnes doucement" in Grus and Lemoine. On p. 120, third system, second and third measures, are found "Rit." and "a Tempo" in Lemoine; they are not found in Escudier and Grus; and so on.
