I called on her in London in 1824—but as my friends disliked her Circle of Friends—and Mrs Shelley was then no longer in a Foreign Country helpless, pennyless, and broken hearted—I never returned again to her but I preserve this Book and her autograph notes to me—as at some future day they will be literary Curiosities.
