Autograph manuscript draft of an "encore" verse for Ko-Ko's song "I've got a little list", from Act I of the Gilbert and Sullivan opera The Mikado; evidently written by W.S. Gilbert for the 1908 revival at the Savoy Theatre, and including topical references to "the lovely suffragist", "the red-hot socialist", and "all dramatic censors"; with "& little Englands Statesmen" added in pencil within a space above the last line.
Library has another manuscript of W.S. Gilbert's "encore" verse for this song, evidently an draft, with corrections incorporated into this version (see GSC 111344.1); the two manuscripts housed together.
