An unidentified hand has written four measures of the text and melody of "Ah, fors' è lui" from Verdi's opera.
The same unidentified hand has also written four+ measures of the text and melody of "Torna, torna, o caro oggetto" from Donizetti's Lucia di Lammermoor, and four measures of the text and melody of "Oh quante volte" from Bellini's Capuleti e i Montecchi.
"Perche non ho del vento," with cabaletta "Torna, torna, o caro oggetto," from Donizetti's Rosmonda d'Inghilterra, was often performed in place of "Regnava nel silenzio" in Lucia during the nineteenth century.
