Executed in the Carthusian monastery of Santa Maria-in-Vallis in Pisa, Italy, after 1543 (date of Paschal table on fol. 15v); later in the same 18th century Italian library as Pierpont Morgan Library MS M.319 (which has shelfmark C VI 4 16); purchased by J. Pierpont Morgan (1837-1913) from Canessa in 1907; J.P. Morgan (1867-1943).

Ms. diurnal; written and illuminated in Pisa, Italy, in the Carthusian monastery of Santa Maria-in-Vallis, in the 16th century (after 1543).
Decoration: 12 historiated initials; historiated borders.
The illumination of M.320 is unfinished and exists at very many stages of completion. Some historiated initials and borders have been drawn in pencil outline, but not painted.
