A fleur-de-lis background on fol. 202; armorial bookplate of Joseph Smith, consul, 1692-1770, on inside front cover (argent, on each of two chevrons sable three fleurs-de-lis or, on a chief azure a lion passant argent); on fol. 85 in a 19th century hand the initials T.J.H.; purchased by J. Pierpont Morgan (1837-1913) from Pearson in 1906; J.P. Morgan (1867-1943).
