Ms. gospel book; written and illuminated in Arark ̕Village (near Van), Turkey, between 1715 and 1725, probably in 1719.
Decoration: 18 full-page miniatures depicting scenes from the Life of Christ; 4 full-page evangelist portraits, 4 incipit pages with headpieces, a 2-page decorated Eusebian letter precedes the 8 decorated canon tables, 46 marginal figures/scenes, numerous marginal decorations including birds and human-headed birds.
Scribe: Simon; signed and dated in the rhymed colophon on fols. 291-292.
