Dark brown leather with woven ribbon fabric appliqué in floral design on upper and lower covers; in octagonal tin box (label reads: Silver tin 150 years old, time of king Fathali Kajar. Made in Shiras) with relief inscriptions in Arabic around upper lid, and a framed inscription on four of the side panels.
