Provenance: 
Owned by members of the Strozzi family of Florence (Strozzi arms on fol. 1 and fol. 47); on the front pastedown signatures in a 15th-century cursive script of Filippo Strozzi (1428-1528) and his son Lorenzo (1482-1549), on the front flyleaf recto the name of Lorenzo Strozzi's younger brother Filippo (1488-1538), followed by the name of his wife Clarice (1493-1528), also the Strozzi library stamp with the motto Expecto; Walter Toscanini and Co. of Milan (Catalogue, 1929, no. 76); Adrian Van Sinderen of New York; purchased from Mrs. Adrian van Sinderen as a Gift from the Fellows in 1965.

Decoration: 1 decorated title page with full illuminated border in white vine decoration with Strozzi arms in lower border center (or, on a fess gules, three crescent moons argent), 14 white vine initials, 1 full-page illuminated Strozzi device on fol. 47 (rectangular frame, three crescents against a blue circle of clouds with rays emanating from them, on a rose ground, outlined in green).
