Notes: 

Ms. psalter; written and illuminated in Amiens, France, possibly in the Abbey of St. Fuscien, between 1297 and the first decade of the 14th century.
The presence of Louis of France in the Litany (fol. 150v) suggests a date of 1297 or later.
Decoration: 8 large historiated initials, 1 full historiated border, marginal grotesques and narrative vignettes.
M.796 contains many folios featuring foliate initials and isolated marginalia, mostly birds, animals, and simple hybrids. These folios were not cataloged at the folio-level. All pages with historiated initials plus those pages with significant marginalia were cataloged.
