Text: M.953.1, end of the prologue of Jerome, and the beginning of Genesis; M.953.2, end of Ezekiel and the prologue and beginning of Daniel; M.953.3, end of Jonah and the prologue and beginning of Micah; M.953.4, end of the prologue and beginning of Haggai; M.953.5, end of the prologue and the beginning of Paul's Epistle to the Thessalonians. Each single leaf is decorated with a historiated initial.
Decoration: M.953.1: 1 large historiated initial "I" (of In principio creavit) comprising the Creation cycle presented in 7 quatrefoils -- M.953.2: 1 large historiated initial "A" (of Anno tertio), with Daniel in the lion's den -- M.953.3: 1 large historiated initial "V" (of Verbum Domini), with Micah enthroned holding a scroll -- M.953.4: 1 large historiated initial "I" (of In Anno), with Haggai standing, holding a scroll -- M.953.5: 1 large historiated initial "P" (of Paulus), with Paul enthroned and holding a sword.
