Small script of approximately 107 leaves (typed on the rectos and many with handwritten additions on the versos) heavily annotated by James Ivory throughout. Title page includes typed notes: "Third Draft: June 4, 1997" and address for Merchant Ivory Productions in Paris. Title page credits James Ivory and Erin Uday; Erin Uday was a pseudonym used by Ruth Prawer Jhabvala (see Robert Emmet Long, James Ivory in Conversation (Berkeley: University of California Press, 2005), p. 304). With several small prints from the film adhered to the versos of script pages, and with additional prints enclosed in a clear plastic envelope laid in at end.
