Explaining that he did everything he could to push Wilbur's story to the editors, but they did not like it; describing how Wilbur writes two types of stories, Kind 1 "complete realization of an unexciting idea" and Kind 2 "the imperfect realization of a great idea"; complimenting him on his story writing, but adding that he gives up too easily; adding that one day they are going to be known as the "Gambier Group"; inquiring if he is writing his New Orleans story; discussing a party he attended a few weeks ago where he saw Jim Wright, Frank Lefevre, Richard Gibson, Richard Wilbur, René Char, and Zieger and how Wright said he read a "brilliant paper" of Wilbur's Green Knight; saying how he has been on a surrealism kick for 2 years; mentioning that he sent two books to him a few days ago.
