Listing off of the good things from Wilbur's [untitled] book; describing the bad ideas and parts in the book; saying that he gets the general idea and feeling of the book and suggests if Wilbur is serious about publishing it, then he edits the parts based on Doctorow's criticisms, lengthen it by 70 pages, and send it back to him for more critiques; adding that he feels that Wilbur is a better novel writer than short story; asking when he is coming to visit.
