Reporting that he sent the Cuban poems with Rodríguez Feo's biographical sketches to "Dudley Fitts, who has agreed to translate them this summer. They will appear with a brief introduction by Fitts next winter"; telling him that he has his permission to translate Rains into Spanish, but adding that he also needs to get the permission of St.-John Perse.
