Lookies are sort of like short movies and they cost a dime"; noting that everyone has "respiratory conditions" because "the weather around here is so unreliable"; reporting that his transfer to "special duty came out last night" and that he "hope[s] to talk with Captain Leeb this afternoon and come to a better definition of [his] duties."
