1map : engraving ; 710 x 540 mm

Morgan Library copy signed by Kaye Dowland under the cartouche on the top right side of the map.
The map appears to be dated 1714 with the date, in an unknown hand, written under "Geog'r to His Majesty", also in manuscript next to "By Eman. Bowen" printed at the end of the title cartouche in the upper left corner.
This copy appears to have cut off the printing and publishing details from the bottom of the map; Bowen printed and published his maps in London.
Part of the Kaye Dowland Byron Collection, a large collection of letters, documents, engravings, photographs and printed ephemera related to Lord Byron. Items in the collection are described in individual records; see MA 1293-1294 for details.
