Summary:
Regarding the new editions of both The Recognitions and JR. Remarking on the flap copy and dust jacket quotes selected, asking "for personal reasons that the Styron lines, good as they are, be replaced by something else, even Graves." Also commenting on the design art and, assuming that the photocopies of each a stock certificate and mortgage bond that he sent previously are "of little use," offering to send an original. With red checkmarks in the margins and some autograph emendations to the text.
