Telling him that she will send Voltaire a packet containing his letters along those to and from the bailiff of Froulay. Reporting that Voltaire is distressed by the malicious assertions published about him in the Dutch press, hoping to ease his feelings with her letter. Letting him know that Voltaire has publicized that he is in Leyden, and saying that Voltaire will disavow any publication made without his explicit approval. Mentioning Voltaire's Mondain, Lettres Philosophiques and Philosophie de Newton, and hoping that her letter will help prevent his Philosophie from being published in Holland. Mentioning her letter to Mme. de Richelieu and that she is considering a trip to Loraine. Sending him a packet for the bailiff, but asking him to judge whether it should be forwarded.
