Summary:

Noting that he and Marion traveled to Silver Lake via Boston instead of via Chapelbrook (Mina's home) because "the French crise made [him] want to see certain of [his] bird friends subito" and because he "rashly" promised an interview with a Wellesley girl representing "a NYC periodical called Mlle." Mentioning that the journey was hard for Marion "& not easy for our nonhero," and hoping to visit "(supposing the unweather doesn't ruin them first) when he feels himself humanely disposed." Thanking her for a letter of May 26.
