HIGH RESERVE.
Originally mounted on linen with markings on the linen indicating that a former owner was J.H. Castle of Philadelphia. The Library of Congress remounted the map for an exhibition in 1932; a letter concerning the return of the map to The Morgan Library is dated January 24, 1933 is retained, along with the original fabric mounting, in a red morocco case (MA 507)(2).
