Reporting that Keats and Severn arrived in Portsmouth "after having been tossed about in the Channel for ten days," noting that Keats's health was better than he expected. Describing Keats as having "the bustling wit of a man in saucy health." Mentioning that they set sail from Portsmouth on Friday afternoon [29 Sept.], with a fair wind. With a note from J. A. Hessey forwarding the letter to Taylor in Leicester.
