Zanotti's inscription on the first leaf reads: "Libretto scritto / di mano di Guido Reni / avuto / La sera de i[l] 16 Novembre / 1729 / Giampietro Zanotti."
Account book kept by Guido Reni during his activities in Rome. The four sections of the account book are devoted to receipts, disbursements, loans made by Reni to others (including various artists), and his bank account. Includes records of payment received for S. Gregorio and the Quirinal Palace decorations. Refers to the commissions for the fresco of the oratory of S Andrew (1609), and the frescoes of the Annunciation and Pauline Chapels (1610 and 1611).
