A copy is known (formerly in the collection of W.H. Crawford, sold at Sotheby's 12 March 1891, lot 1905, again 30 Nov. 1995, lot 280) with a colophon date 1469, which is an eighteenth-century forgery: see M. Castellana in Bulletin du bibliophile et du bibliothécaire 1891, confirmed by more recent observation.
The outer sheet of quire [c] was reprinted to include a portion of text omitted from the original printing (BMC).

Binding: 
Both volumes: Contemporary Italian (Venice?) blind-stamped leather over wooden boards (39.5 x 27 cm), sewn on 5 supports; rebacked. Plain paper pastedowns and vellum fly leaves; decorative endbands; gilt edges. Center and corner bosses and 4 clasps, wanting.
Inscriptions/Markings: 

Hand decoration: Woodcut-stamped borders, with illumination by Franco dei Russi, ca. 1470; rubricated, red rubrics and wedge-shaped (vol. I) and [Gamma]-shaped (vol. II) paragraph marks, incipit rubrics to each volume written in gold. Running headlines written in blue. Annotations: Marginal notations in a contemporary Italian hand throughout. Modern foliation.
