19th-century English blind-tooled full brown goatskin over paper boards (32.5 x 21 cm), sewn on 6 supports. Plain vellum pastedowns and fly leaves; decorative endbands; gilt edges.
Inscriptions/Markings: 

Hand decoration: Illuminated white vine border with cornucopiae and putti (leaf [1]/2r, top edge trimmed) and initials by Giovanni Vendramin of Padua (ex-info Lilian Armstrong); rubricated, blue lombards with manuscript quide letters and pink rubrics. Annotations: Minimal contemporary Latin and Greek marginal notations throughout, many trimmed. Later running headlines in Aeneid and foliation in bottom corner.
