Contemporary blind-stamped pigskin over wooden boards (30.5 x 19.5 cm.), sewn on 3 supports by the Fünfblatt-Blüte frei workshop in Augsburg (EBDB w002482), active circa 1470-1485. Modern plain blue paper pastedowns and fly leaves; decorative endbands. 2 clasps, wanting.
Inscriptions/Markings: 

Hand decoration: No rubrication required. Woodcuts hand colored. Annotations: Misplaced/printed top line from leaf Cxlii verso (= [26]/4v) added in manuscript at bottom of leaf Cxliii recto (= [26]/5r). Minimal 17th-/18th-century notes in graphite. Contemporary leather tabs for text/book divisions.
