19th-century gilt-tooled black morocco over paper boards (29.5 x 21 cm.), sewn on 5 supports by M. Schaefer for Gomez de la Cortina. Marbled paper pastedowns and fly leaves with plain paper fly leaves; decorative endbands; gilt edges.
Inscriptions/Markings:
Hand decoration: Rubricated, red lombards, paragraph marks, and capital strokes. Annotations: Minor marginal notations in an early hand, predominantly in the first 2 quires.
