18th-century English, gilt-tooled citron morocco over heavy paper boards (30 x 21.5 cm.), sewn on 6 supports; hinges repaired. Marbled paper pastedowns and fly leaves, with plain paper fly leaves; plain endbands; yellow edges.

Inscriptions/Markings:

Hand decoration: Northern Itailan illuminated foliate borders and initials with plaquettes around caption titles (leaves [a]2r and [b]1r), blue initials throughout text. Annotations: No marginal notations in text.
