Binding: 
16th-century (early 1500s) German blind-stamped calf over wooden boards (22 x 16 cm), sewn on 2 bands. Plain paper pastedowns and endleaves; decorative endbands; yellow edges. 2 clasps, missing.

Inscriptions/Markings: 

Hand decoration: German rubrication (same throughout volume), alternating red and blue initials, red capital strokes and underlining, dated 1500 (leaf b9v of Janua artis). Printer's mark highlighted in red. Annotations: Contemporary marginal notations by Pol moderately throughout and interlinear corrections (same hand throughout volume). Contempoary foliation, by Pol(?) (with more modern version of 4, 5, and 7 than typically seen in 15th century).
