19th-century gilt-tooled brown hard-grained morocco over wooden boards (29.2 x 21.5 cm), sewn on 5 supports. Marbled paper pastedowns and fly leaves; decorative endbands; all edges gilt.
Inscriptions/Markings: 

Hand decoration: Rubricated, red lombards (some with white-space decoration), paragraph marks (P-, C-, and g-types), capital strokes, and underlining; all but lombards stop at leaf [9]/5v. Annotations: Few marginal notations in text. Manuscript quire signatures, mostly trimmed. Modern bibliographic notes on rear fly leaf.
