Hand decoration: The two volumes are likely not an original pair. Vol. 1: 15th-century southern German (Augsburg) rubrication, alternating red and blue initials; first leaf with illuminated initial and foliate border decoration (in style of Johann Bämler). Woodcuts colored by hand. Vol. 2: Rubrication unrealized; woodcuts not colored. Annotations: No marginal notations in text of either volume.
