17th/18th-century mottled calf over paper boards (37.5 x 26.5 cm), sewn on 6 supports; rebacked; repaired by Duprez Lahey. Marbled paper pastedowns and endleaves, with plain paper endleaves; plain endbands; sprinkled edges. Evidence on final leaves of damage from a chain hasp from the previous binding.
Inscriptions/Markings: 

Contemporary French rubrication, alternating red and blue initials and paragraph marks. Annotations: No marginal notations in text.
