Binding: 
Contemporary blind-rolled brown calf over wooden boards (28.5 x 19.5 cm), sewn on 3 supports in Augsburg, Flechtwerk workshop (Flechtwerkrolle), active 1473-1527, EBDB w002155/Kyriss 86; repaired by Duprez Lahey. No pastedowns, plain paper fly leaves; stuck-on leather endbands (Lahey). Two clasps, wanting. Missal fragments, Germany, late-14th/early-15th century, used to reinforce hinge.
Inscriptions/Markings: 

Hand decoration: Rubricated, red lombards, paragraph marks, and capital strokes (in quire a only, rubrication in remainder of text unrealized). Annotations: Marginal annotations predominantly in the two "Sermo de adventu domini." Inscriptions (front fly leaf recto): "Altissimus semper obβua" and price: 24 fl. Inscription on half-title page (leaf a1r) referring to Ailly as the teacher of Jean Gerson, "preceptor J. Gersonis." Note at end of tabula (leaf a2r): "amen l.c.[i?]".
