Description: 

A nimbed Virgin Mary wearing a fillet holds a partly draped Christ Child in both hands. He has a rayed nimbus. He touches her neck with His left hand. The miniature is at the beginning of the Obsecro te. The miniature and text are framed by a border decorated with flowers, including a poppy, viola, strawberries, a rose, and a pink, and inhabited by a butterfly.

Christ: Bewailing―A nimbed Evangelist John and a nimbed and veiled Virgin Mary support the body of Christ. He has a rayed nimbus and is wearing a short loincloth. Blood issues from the wound in His side. The miniature is at the beginning of the O intemerata. The miniature and text are framed by a border decorated with grapevine.
