Description:
Christ: Deposition—On two ladders flanking the cross, Joseph of Arimathea and another man lower the body of Christ, who is wearing a crown of thorns. A third man holds Him at His waist. Mary Magdalene and the Virgin Mary, who is veiled and kneeling, assist Him.
The miniature and text are framed by a border decorated with foliate ornament.
