Christ: Arrest―Two soldiers, one of whom is Malchus, seize Christ, who has a rayed nimbus. The Apostle Peter, also nimbed, raises a sword above the head of Malchus. To the left of the first soldiers is a group of soldiers carrying weapons including spears, maces, and halberds. One of these soldiers raises a lantern.
The scene is framed by a border that is decorated with flowers and inhabited by birds and a butterfly.

Christ: Crucifixion, nailed to Cross—Two men nail the hands of Christ, who is wearing a crown of thorns and a loincloth, to the cross with hammers. A third man pulls a rope attached to the end of the right arm of the cross. A fourth man, whose back is turned, is at His feet. Two groups of figures look on.
